Carla Butts

Carla Butts, a master esthetician, owns Light+Space Skin in Seattle. Her beauty career started as a makeup artist on film and television sets in Los Angeles. She later became a global educator and director of education for luxury skin care brands, and has consulted on and developed treatments for upscale spas while working alongside dermatologists and plastic surgeons. She runs a private skincare practice in Seattle that serves medical and skin professionals, senior executives and general clients. Her training includes a BA in Journalism from Ohio State University, the UCLA Extension program in cosmetic chemistry and ingredient knowledge, coursework with The International Dermal Institute and in the Pastiche Method, and ongoing workshops and webinars. She also works as an Aura-soma practitioner.
