She owns the salon and works as a master stylist and master colorist. She has 38 years of experience in hair. Her focus on curly hair dates to 1987, the year she finished at Blaine Hair School. Before opening in Beverly, she worked in Topsfield, and she worked alongside Shirley Sarpi, a Clairol Color Platform Artist. Her advanced color training came through Clairol Colorworks. She learned Curl by Curl cutting from Lorraine Massey and trained in the Cut it Kinky method. She holds a Curl by Curl Certification and a Level 3 Master Stylist Certification from DevaCurl. She concentrates on custom curly cuts, advanced color and curly hair care.
