Brian Sandler

Brian Sandler is a board-certified dermatologist (M.D., FAAD) who performs general, surgical and cosmetic surgery. He studied at Michigan State University as an undergraduate and earned his medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine. His training included time in Wayne State University's Department of Internal Medicine and Dermatology, followed by a dermatology residency.

After residency he served four years with the US Army Medical Corps, reaching the rank of Major. He holds faculty appointments as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Wayne State University Department of Dermatology, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancers is one of his specialties, alongside general surgical and cosmetic surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
