Breno Miranda is the SB EDU Director and works as a cutting specialist and barber at Strange Bird, where he is the lead in-house education director. He has 19 years of experience, including over a decade in education. Before relocating to Austin, he was cutting education director at Licari/Cutler Salon on Fifth Avenue in New York City.
He co-founded the Strange Bird Education program, which has mentored and graduated stylists now working on the floor, and he mentors the current class of haircutting specialists. He has taught cutting around the country and now helps salons build their own haircutting curricula.
