Bradley Ashpole, M.D.

Bradley Ashpole, M.D., is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing in Schaumburg, Naperville and Chicago. He holds board certification in plastic and reconstructive surgery from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is also certified by the American Board of Surgery. He graduated magna cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University and with honors from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and general surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center, then a hand surgery fellowship at Rush and a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.

His work includes hand surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger and Dupuytren's contracture. He performs breast reconstruction using staged expander-implant reconstruction as well as own-tissue methods such as the TRAM flap and latissimus dorsi reconstruction. He is one of the area's specialists in staged expander-implant reconstruction. He also performs excision and closure of benign, pre-malignant and malignant skin lesions using advanced closure techniques and fine suturing, and he has broad experience in this area.

He is named with Dr. Garg as determining varicose vein treatment plans. His bedside manner is outstanding. He was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society for achievements in teaching.
