Ben Stewart

Ben Stewart owns The Color Shop and works as its color specialist from the salon at Ferrazz Hair on 7th Avenue. He is known for dimensional color that reflects each individual, including natural-looking blondes, dimensional brunettes with shine, and redheads with tonal variation.

His training began at Toni & Guy, where he built foundational skills, and he was developing his color skills in the early 1990s while working alongside prominent names in the industry. He later worked as an educator at Bumble and Bumble, then spent 16 years as Color Director at Cutler Salons, where he led creative direction in color and created the education program. In 2015 he accepted a national Creative Director position at Red Door Salon and Spa.

He launched The Color Shop around 2020. Alongside his own color work, he places a strong focus on mentoring and educating other colorists.
