About
Arolyn Maes owns Body Suite Spa in Redondo Beach and performs every treatment herself. She gave her first facial as a teenager at an aromatherapy shop in Manhattan Beach, and in her twenties she opened a solo studio in San Pedro, where she made her products by hand.
She later returned to the South Bay to open Body Suite Spa. She has over 35 years of work behind her, and she also handcrafts the spa's fragrance oils, including the Zodiac Oil Collection, using recipes she has developed over that time.
