About
Anthony Waechter, MD, serves as the weight loss and hormone optimization provider at Eternia Medspa, having come from Aura Skin Spa, a practice less than a mile from Eternia. He is a board certified emergency medicine physician with nearly 20 years of clinical experience and is fluent in English and German. His education began with undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado, followed by a medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Finch University of Health Sciences. He completed an internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver and an emergency medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Hormone care is the core of his practice. He offers bioidentical hormone replacement for women and men, using estrogen, progesterone and testosterone, and he oversees testosterone replacement for men. For women, he sees patients from early perimenopause, often in their late 30s and 40s, through menopause and beyond. For men with laboratory-confirmed low testosterone or andropause, he addresses symptoms such as fatigue, low libido, brain fog and mood changes. His work also spans anti-aging, regenerative and preventive medicine, and he provides medically guided weight loss using GLP-1 and GIP therapy, with monthly InBody scans and labs.
On the aesthetic side, he administers neurotoxins, dermal fillers and biostimulators, and performs laser resurfacing, laser vein and pigment treatments, Sofwave, non-surgical skin tightening, and BBL HEROic and Tribrid Halo treatments. He gives in-office PRP joint injections for the knee and elbow. Before any treatment he personally reviews health history and examines each candidate, and plans begin with a conversation and, when appropriate, labs and diagnostics.
