Annette Norwood is the owner of Posh Curls and works as a master curl specialist and colorist. She opened her own salon in 2008 focused only on curly hair, and she created the Forma Cut, a shape-based curly cut. She sees curly hair clients from around the world.
Her training includes time with Lorraine Massey, founder of DevaCurl and The Curly Girl Method, and with a DevaCurl co-founder. She trained in cutting curls in New York City, completed Curl Confidential in Soho in 2018 and trained three times through Redken Exchange on Fifth Avenue.
Her DevaCurl certifications run from Inspired level 1 in 2008 to Advanced level 2 in 2014 and Master level in 2016. She also holds Rëzo certifications at level 1 in New York in 2020 and at level 2 in New York and Los Angeles in 2023.
