Anita Patel runs her own single-doctor practice in Beverly Hills, offering breast, body, facial and non-surgical procedures, and she holds hospital privileges at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and she scored in the 97th percentile on that board's oral examination. Her education began with a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Michigan in 1997 and a medical doctorate from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2001.
