Angie

Angie is a Registered Nurse at the practice, returning to dermatology after years in hospital nursing. She holds a bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University and a master's degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and finished the accelerated second-degree BSN program at Shenandoah University in 2015. At Reston Hospital Center she worked in medical oncology and as a COVID-19 nurse, moving through roles as nurse leader, clinical nurse coordinator and nurse preceptor. She served on the hospital's Skin Care Committee and received the Daisy Award for Nursing Excellence. She graduated on the Dean's List and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She belongs to the American Nurses Association and the Dermatology Nurses Association. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Shenandoah University.
