About
Angela Rafferty opened Chakra Esthetics in Palm Desert in 2016 and works there alone. Her licenses and certifications include licensed esthetician (LE), energy practitioner (EP) and certified massage therapist (CMT). She has more than 25 years of experience in spa and esthetics work. Earlier, she worked as a spa therapist, spa manager and corporate spa educator for hospitality brands including Hyatt and Marriott. Her focus is aging, menopausal, sensitive and rosacea-prone skin, plus hyperpigmentation. Her signature longevity facials blend skincare with sound healing, chakra work, crystals and touch. She also works with clients whose skin is reactive or going through perimenopausal or menopausal changes, and she personally performs Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage and a Sedona-inspired Swedish technique. She is a Certified Reiki Instructor and a Certified Aging and Menopause Skin Specialist, and she created The Chakra Esthetics Training Method for licensed spa professionals. She works as a skin expert rather than a doctor and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. She also advises the Milan Institute of Palm Desert.
