Angel Paas, MD heads Kennesaw Gynecology as medical director. Her board certification comes from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and she keeps it current each year. She began practicing gynecology in 2003 and has spent more than two decades in private practice. Starting with a biology degree, with a neuroscience concentration, from Duke University, she went on to a medical degree at East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. Her OB/GYN residency was at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Georgia OB/GYN Society, the Medical Association of Georgia and the Cobb County Medical Society.

Her clinical focus is preventive care and gynecology for patients of any age, including teens, along with perimenopause and postmenopause management and contraceptive counseling. Diagnosing and treating heavy menstrual bleeding is a specialty. Her practice includes gynecological surgery and aesthetic care, covering cosmetic gynecological procedures as well as UltraSlim and other weight-loss treatments. The annual exams she leads include a review of medical and gynecological history, a physical with breast and pelvic exams, and recommended testing.
