About
Andrew DiSimone owns his business and designs the ADWigs wig line. He assisted Louis Licari, a period in which he built his sense of color, and he has also worked at London Academy. His work has included styling at Manhattan's Fashion Week and a long run of projects with fashion stylist Sam McKnight, among them pieces for Italian Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
He later founded DiSimone Studio for Hair in the West Village. Afterward he took on a commercial space at 60th and Park Avenue, where he co-created FaceStation with Catherine Murphy. He also built HairPlaceNYC, which brings wig stylists together with a broad selection of wigs and services. Known as The Wig Whisperer, he teaches salon owners how to run a salon successfully.
