Amie Hawks

Amie Hawks is a Skin Specialist and photographer in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has been licensed as a skin specialist since 2006, and her skincare work centers on microcurrent and other anti-aging treatments.

Her path into skincare started when she began doing makeup for photography clients about ten years into a photography career that began in her early twenties; she later attended esthetics school. She later worked as an esthetics instructor and then as a program director, and has worked as an industry educator. She kept a photography practice going alongside her teaching work.

She chose her microcurrent machine, which offers 10 frequencies, after trying other devices since 2006. Her photography work has included professional sports sidelines, celebrity concerts and managing national portrait programs, and her galleries span artistic, fashion, cinematic, surreal, editorial and vintage styles.
