Alyssa Ashworth-Housh

Alyssa Ashworth-Housh founded The Organic Salon Denver in 2016 and works there as founder and artist. She began her career in 2002 after graduating from cosmetology school. For a few years after graduating she ran her own solo salon while working at an environmental nonprofit, and in 2011 she earned a degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Sustainability. She moved to Denver in 2014 and continued serving clients in Kansas City for a time. Her focus is curly hair, low-maintenance color and ritual haircuts, and she works in both traditional curl cutting and razored curly cutting. She trained Lupe Valdivia in curl cutting. Her hourly rate is $170.
