Alison Erickson is the artistic director and owner of Untangled Hair Studio. She has worked behind the chair for over 20 years and has focused on curly hair for 18 years. She trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, has been Deva Curl certified since 2005, and is a certified Alfaparf colorist. She opened Untangled in 2019 to run her own salon.

She has developed her own curly cutting technique, building on her Deva Curl training, and her work centers on caring for clients' curls.
