Alicia Kolodzek

Alicia Kolodzek is the owner and master stylist at AK Hair Co. She is a licensed cosmetologist and a hand-tied extension specialist, and she has served as a lead educator, trainer and mentor for other stylists. Before opening her own salon she worked as a corporate salon employee, then as a hair designer, and then as an independent stylist.

Her training includes a cosmetology education at the Salon Professional Academy of Appleton, graduating in 2009. She has completed extensive Redken training, including Redken Master Specialist Training in 2012, and attended Redken Symposium in 2014 and 2018 and Redken Exchange in 2016 and 2017. She trained with PRAVANA as a Master Hair Colorist in 2017 and completed the Amika Academy Thrivers Society program in 2021. Her certifications include an iTip Extension Certification from 2010, a Keratin Certification from 2011, a Keratin Express Certification from 2014, a Hotheads certification class from 2015, and an extension certification from training with Taylor Sage.

She focuses on lived-in color, dimensional color, hand-tied extensions and modern haircuts. She attends classes with top educators in New York, Las Vegas and across the Midwest and continues her education every year.
