Alex J. Caniglia

Alex J. Caniglia is a physician and facial plastic surgeon practicing in Scottsdale. He joined the practice founded by his father and co-directs the MediSpa alongside Ronald J. Caniglia. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed a five-year Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency at the University of Illinois Chicago. Over the course of that residency he performed more than 2,000 procedures, concentrating on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, neck and nose, and he was chosen as Chief Resident in his final year.

He went on to a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Indianapolis, trained under Dr. Stephen W. Perkins and Dr. Mark Hamilton. The practice characterizes this fellowship as one of the leading facial plastic surgery fellowships nationally. Procedures he lists include deep plane facelifts, neck lifts, upper and lower eyelid lifts, brow lifts, lip lifts and enhancements, rhinoplasty and laser skin resurfacing. He also offers facial liposuction, cheek and chin augmentation, otoplasty and injectables such as BOTOX Cosmetic, Daxxify, Juvederm, Restylane and Revance. His advanced training covers scar revision and reconstructive repair, including tissue repair following Mohs surgery, dog bites and lacerations.
