About
Alejandra is the founder and owner of Baru Skin Care and its lead esthetician. She is a licensed esthetician with over three years of professional experience, holding a New York State Licensed Esthetician license. Her training includes a 32-hour course through Oncology Spa Solutions, a Life-Changing Oncology Esthetics Specialist license, and continued advanced study in oncology esthetics. Certifications include dermaplaning, Barbicide sanitation, esthetics, skincare and makeup for laser hair removal, and domestic violence response training. She also trained in acne care, LED therapy and extractions. Her specialties include dermaplaning, hyperpigmentation treatment and oncology skincare. She leads the studio's Oncology-Safe Skincare Program, building a customized plan for each oncology client and updating it as their skin changes.
