Alana Lucia founded Baddies in 2017 and works there as co-founder, stylist and barber. She is a licensed cosmetologist and a licensed barber with more than 20 years of experience, and she worked at The Blind Barber before opening her own salon.
She trained in New York City at Antonio Prieto Salon and at the TIGI Academy in SoHo. Her work centers on short haircuts, and she is comfortable with all hair lengths and styles.
Alongside her work at Baddies, she cuts at Mildred in the LES and at The Best Little Hair House in Brooklyn.
