Alaa Mashal founded AVEN MED and works as its clinical director. She is the only injector at the practice, so she personally places every injectable treatment. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). Alongside aesthetics, she provides family medicine, offering ongoing primary care for adults and families. Her injectable work includes neuromodulators, dermal fillers and biostimulators, placed with a conservative approach. She also focuses on facial balancing, where proportion takes priority over added volume. Skin health is another area of her practice, covering microneedling, peels and medical-grade skincare planned over the long term. She offers medical weight loss supported by clinician-guided metabolic care, along with preventive wellness that includes lab interpretation. Before suggesting any treatment, she reviews a patient's history and goals, and determines whether a neuromodulator suits them before any product is prepared. She assesses patients who have previously received filler elsewhere, including those dissatisfied with the outcome or who experienced a complication, and decides case by case whether treatment is appropriate. Patients return to her for follow-up, so one clinician handles assessment, treatment and review of the result.
