About

AferDita Jasharaj Watson works as a stylist and makeup artist at the studio, creating runway-inspired looks as well as everyday looks for working women, mothers, businessmen and children. She trained at Marlene Kurland Make Up Academy and is certified by that academy. Further training includes a platform artistry class with Sam Villa, an up-do class with AQUAGE, an up-style class with Martin Parsons, razor cutting classes with Sexy Hair Concepts, and an extended television close-up makeup class with Bert Roth of NBC, who is retired.

She has worked on the makeup team at the Redken Symposium in 2003, 2005 and 2007, and attends the New York International Beauty Show and the IMATS makeup trade show each year. She has also attended the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show twice, to stay current with industry shows and classes. Her work includes fantasy makeup photo shoots with local photographers and wedding design shoots.

She refers clients to other professionals for services she is not confident providing. She won the 2007 Hair Ball Best Use of Makeup award from City of Hope, a cancer research fundraising production in Philadelphia.
