About
Adrienne Carthon founded Naturally Nadine and owns the salon. Known as the Natural Hair Professor, she is a Howard University professor and scholar who teaches natural hair regionally and nationally, including lectures beyond the traditional classroom.
Before launching her own business, she was one of the originators of Entwine Couture and built a following through its House Call videos. She left Entwine in 2012 and started Naturally Nadine after years of research.
Her specialties include thinning and aging hair. She is a certified natural hair specialist and a licensed cosmetologist, and she combines styling with teaching.
