Ztylez Studio

Ztylez Studio is a scalp micropigmentation studio on the second floor at 69-16 Roosevelt Ave in Woodside, Queens, in the Little Manila neighborhood. Owner Cassandra F. Mendoza opened the studio in 2017 after several years working in the medical field. The studio describes its aim as building community through networking, art and friendship, and calls itself an inclusive space where people can interact freely.

The studio's services center on scalp micropigmentation. Hairline reconstruction restores the look of a natural hairline. Density fill adds the appearance of fullness to thinning hair using micro-detailed pigment dots. SMP for alopecia conceals patches of hair loss caused by alopecia. Scar camouflage blends scalp scars from injury or surgery with the surrounding hair, and bald head tattooing creates the look of a clean-shaven scalp across the whole head.

Scalp micropigmentation is completed over three sessions of roughly two to three hours each. Pigment colors are matched to the client's hair and scalp color. The ink does not penetrate as deeply as a tattoo and does not change color over time. The studio recommends the treatment for all skin types and hair colors.

Consultations and quotes are free, and payment plans are listed on the scalp micropigmentation site. Appointments are highly recommended, and walk-ins are accepted after 12pm.
