Zen Salon Studios LLC

Zen Salon Studios LLC rents private salon studios to independent beauty professionals from its location at 7636 Barrington Rd. in Hanover Park. The building sits in a high-traffic shopping center with ample parking.

According to the business, its studios are luxury, minimalist salon suites. Each one includes shampoo stations, styling chairs, barber chairs and styling stations, and renters can choose the style, size and color of their chairs.

The weekly rental fee covers all utilities and maintenance. Free laundry equipment is on site, professional cleaning crews keep the common areas maintained, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi reaches throughout the building. Studios are roughly 20% larger than average and can be accessed at any hour. The building has 24/7 security and intercom entry for controlled access.

Leases run on flexible terms with no long-term commitment. Renters have no employees or payroll to manage and, according to the business, keep more of what they earn and set their own prices. A free appointment and calendar app is provided to renters, and they can use the business's bulk rate for credit card processing. A referral program lets a renter bring in a friend in exchange for free rent.

The business presents the model as independence for professionals, with flexible leases, no payroll and renters who set their own prices.

The business describes the studios as minimalist luxury suites in a busy shopping center.
