Zealous Manes

Zealous Manes works in one-on-one sessions, so each appointment is handled by a single stylist. New guests start with a form, then a consultation to talk through expectations for hair and scheduling and to go over the salon's policies, then choose an appointment date. Appointments can run for a while, and lunch is provided for guests.

K-tip extensions are attached strand by strand with a heat tool. The salon describes them as the most natural and customizable extensions on the market. Pricing starts at $2,500 and the final cost is set at consultation. For a first install, the salon recommends wearing them no longer than three months so the hair can be checked. Average wear time is three to five months, depending on the client's hair. A keratin or other smoothing treatment is recommended, though not required, for tight coils and curls. Every K-tip install includes a shampoo, treatment, style, and a hair and home care kit.

Sew-ins suit clients who want a fuller look and are prepared for more upkeep at home and in the salon. The foundation is chosen based on hair type and lifestyle. The concealed bead method uses beads to form rows where wefted hair is secured, which allows flexibility for styling, and an installation can last up to 12 weeks depending on hair health, texture and growth. Sew-in pricing covers the service only and excludes hair and any color work, with the final price set at consultation.

Each visit ends with a check of the style, including a hair flip and swing, along with take-home care instructions and photos of the new look.
