The medical side covers skin cancer screenings, suspicious mole evaluations and Mohs surgery, along with care for acne (including Accutane), rosacea, eczema, dermatitis and skin rashes, hair loss, warts, scars, melasma, age spots, precancers, and teen and pediatric skin concerns. Perimenopause and menopause skin care is offered, as are Botox for chronic migraines and Botox for TMJ, and treatment for excessive sweating.

On the aesthetic side, the practice takes a restrained approach to facial beauty. Injectables and fillers are planned around each patient's facial anatomy, muscle movement and goals. For Botox, the practice aims to use the fewest units needed for the desired result and keeps movement natural rather than frozen. Botox and fillers can be done on the same day. Botox is generally revisited about every three months and filler about every six to nine months, depending on the area.

Facials range from a $100 Clear Complexion Acne Facial to a $375 Jet Lag Facial, which is a 75-minute two-step treatment with a microcurrent lift. Complimentary consultations help people choose a facial based on skin type and goals, and clinical facials are generally recommended every four to six weeks. The practice also offers holistic guidance covering nutrition, hormones, fitness and self-care alongside medical care.

Patients can book online. The Mill Valley office at 655 Redwood Highway, Suite 246, South Building, serves Mill Valley and greater Marin County and is open weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at 415-301-5000. The Lafayette office at 3511 School Street, Suite B, serves patients from Orinda, Moraga, Walnut Creek, Alamo, Berkeley, Oakland and nearby areas, and is open weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 925-385-0305. The practice is accepting new patients and accepts Medicare. An online shop sells Zand-branded skin care and sunscreen along with other brands and supplements, with shipping at $15 and free shipping on orders over $200.
