Z.Clawz is run by Zaira, who does the nail work herself in the South Bronx. The exact address is sent in the confirmation text or email after booking. Street parking is available, and the location can be reached by the 6 train and the BX19 bus.

The salon offers acrylic nails, Gel-X and manicures. Soak offs of gel and acrylic are offered for work done by Zaira and for work done elsewhere, with an extra $20 charge. Clients booking a soak off are asked to take the last appointment slot of the day.

Appointments are available Tuesday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and can be booked up to two weeks ahead. A $25 deposit is due at booking and goes toward the total. The remaining balance is paid in cash or by Zelle. Clients can reach the salon by phone or email.

Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice, or the deposit is forfeited. Same-day cancellations result in a card charge of 50% of the service total. A no-show is charged 50% of the service total and the client is banned from booking again. There is a 15-minute grace period; after that the deposit is forfeited. Arriving more than 20 minutes late cancels the appointment automatically, and a new deposit is needed to rebook. Clients who feel unwell are asked to reschedule as soon as possible. Broken policies may result in forfeited deposits and additional fees.

The shop sells an online course, Acrylic 101, aimed at beginner nail techs, along with cuticle oil from $7.00. Classes are not currently offered; a newsletter sign-up will announce them when they become available.
