Perms are the core of the menu. A digital perm, also called a hot perm, lasts up to six months and adds volume, texture and a soft, natural-looking wave, and the salon says it reconditions hair to limit damage. It is recommended for medium to long coarse hair. A texture perm, also called a cold perm, lasts three to six months, building curls or waves from the root on rods of different sizes with a cold wave solution. It suits short coarse to fine hair and medium to long fine hair. A consultation is recommended before either perm, and clients should avoid washing, wetting and combing their hair for 48 hours afterward.
Clients who have both a digital and a texture perm need minimal or no bleach, and color is acceptable without high-lift formulas.
The salon is open Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and sometimes on Wednesday from 10:00am. Appointments run back to back, so clients who are running late are asked to call. Arriving 15 or more minutes after the start time counts as a no-show, and repeat no-shows may be asked to prepay. Chemical services require a full deposit to hold the booking, and cancellations or changes need 72 hours' notice for chemical appointments and 24 hours' notice for haircuts.
