Yours Truly HEAD SPA

Yours Truly Head Spa is a Murfreesboro studio built around scalp and hair care. Its treatments combine scalp cleansing, massage and nourishing hair masks, and the spa says they are designed to suit all hair and scalp types.

The spa offers three head spa treatments. Yours Truly is the 45-minute option, focused on encouraging hair growth and strengthening the scalp, with a deep-cleansing scalp treatment, scalp massage and a nourishing hair mask. Warmest Regard runs 60 minutes and is aimed at deep moisture, with a hydrating scalp cleanse, scalp massage, a rosemary moisture-infusing hair mask and a warm towel wrap. Hotep is also 60 minutes and blends growth-focused and moisturizing care, with a scalp detox, a dual-action herbal hair mask, vibrating scalp massage, and shoulder and neck massage.

According to the spa, a head spa cleanses the scalp deeply, removes dirt, oil and product buildup, and its massage can improve circulation and ease stress. The spa also says head spa treatments can help with dandruff and dryness, and it recommends a session every two to four weeks.

Services are by appointment only, and requests are made through the website, where gift cards can also be bought. Before a treatment, clients are asked to have hair free of extensions, braids, twists, microlinks and tape-ins, and free of knots and tangles. Washing beforehand is not required, though clean hair can enhance the treatment. Head spa treatments do not include styling, and each session ends with a complimentary quick towel dry and head wrap.

The spa centers on scalp care, pairing cleansing, massage and hair masks within each treatment.
