Your Destiny Glam operates from a suite inside Prestige Salon Suites at 16247 Wausau Avenue in South Holland, Illinois. Appointments are listed from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the studio can be reached by phone at 773-359-7095.

Destiny is the stylist behind the business. Clients bring short, long, natural, relaxed, extended, or damaged hair, and the goal is a look clients are happy with while keeping the hair itself healthy during every visit.

New clients start with a consultation before booking any other service. Booking requires a $25 deposit, which is non-refundable, goes toward the service, and is due within two hours of booking. Deposits are paid by Zelle, and the rest of the balance is paid in cash. Same-day appointments are not offered, and guests cannot bring extra people along.

Timing matters here. Arriving 10 minutes late adds a $15 late fee, and arriving 15 minutes late cancels the appointment. Cancellations are accepted up to 24 hours ahead. Missing an appointment without contacting the studio within 24 hours can lead to being barred from future bookings. Clients are asked to reply to the confirmation message the day before, or the appointment may be cancelled.

A deposit can move once to a rescheduled appointment, and a second reschedule needs a new deposit. Deposits transfer for up to 15 days. A cancelled appointment rebooked within 24 hours can use the original deposit. Early bird appointments before 7 a.m. and squeeze-in appointments carry a $50 fee. Clients with braids must take them down before a service or pay a $40 charge. Out-of-town clients can only book on dates Destiny will be in their city.
