Her work draws on a long-standing interest in character-driven design. She treats hair as an art form that can change the shape of a look, define it and build confidence, and her appointments are unhurried and deliberate.

Known for Old Hollywood-inspired coiffures, she also cuts hair in a way meant to evolve with the client over time, and offers light-sculpted color intended to bring out a person's natural coloring. She describes her role as a creative partner, helping each client settle on a look that feels distinctly their own.

She works behind the chair in the studio, and also on location or backstage, so on-set and special occasion work is part of the practice.
