Bookings begin with a phone conversation, after which clients receive a quote listing the options discussed. Wedding dates can be booked up to a year in advance. Wedding clients are asked to send a photo and examples of the hair and makeup they like before they meet. A $300 deposit reserves a wedding date; it is nonrefundable and nontransferable, and a formal contract is signed when it is recorded. The package is usually settled during a consultation and trial period.
For a trial, clients arrive with a clean face wearing only moisturizer and lip balm, with hair washed using shampoo only. Hairstyles are chosen to suit the occasion, and example looks for different occasions are available to browse.
Airbrush makeup applies a fine mist of color sprayed through an air compressor, using Kett Cosmetics equipment. The studio states it uses only high quality professional makeup products, and its makeup kit draws on a range of well-known brands. Waterproof options are available, including airbrush foundation, mascara, pencil and liquid eyeliner, lip liner and a face setting spray.
