About

Yeh Center of Natural Medicine, Inc. operates from 195 North 2nd Avenue in Upland, California. The practice has earlier roots in Overland Park, Kansas, where it operated between 1981 and 1983 and where Dr. Timothy Yeh gave seminars to medical professionals. The business says it was one of the first large-scale natural medicine offices in the United States, that it has treated more than 500,000 patients (some travelling from Europe, Asia, Latin America, Canada and across the country), and that its staff has more than 80 years of combined medical experience.

Visits are by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted. A comprehensive examination is required for every patient before any treatment begins. The examination is non-invasive and painless: no hypodermic needles, no blood draws, and no X-ray, CAT scan or MRI equipment. A Systematic Examination takes about 12 days and looks at the face, pulse, eyes, feet, ears, meridians, tongue, biology, abdomen, skin, hands and thermal sensation. A Regular Examination takes about 3 days and focuses on the tongue, meridians, pulse, biology and skin.

Services here include acupuncture, which places thin solid needles at chosen points on the body. Yeh Micro-Circulation Treatment (YMCT), created by Drs. Timothy and Pearl Yeh, is a needle-free option that combines negative pressure, electro-acupuncture, acupressure and, when called for, moxibustion. It is offered to patients who dislike needles, have a delicate constitution or want better circulation. Herbal medicine is tailored to each patient, and the herbs can change as treatment continues. Aromatherapy relies on natural perfumes and essential oils. The wider menu runs through Tui-Na massage, magnetic, music and color therapies, food medicine, nutrition, hydrotherapy, Qi-Kong, youth and beauty treatments, biofeedback therapy and physical exercise, along with prescription herbal teas, herbal formulations, medical evaluations and wellness seminars.

The center sells its own products. Supplement lines cover blood, immune strengthening, injury and bone care, weight management, liquid vitamins, and essentials grouped by age and sex. There are also cleansing products, skin care, perfumetherapy, body and hair care, and cosmetics. The Drs. Yeh have written books including Natural Medicine Works!, Seasonal Food Medicine, Body Balanced Food Medicine and Foods of Food Medicine.

Natural medicine that draws on physics, chemistry and biology together, aimed at helping each patient reach their full potential physically, mentally and spiritually.
