Yeehaw Claws was created by Marj McGee in 2023 and runs as a small shop inside Bee Sweet, a salon space in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District.
Manicures are the core of the menu. The naked nails manicure takes 45 minutes and applies no product, while the structured gel and hard gel manicures take about 80 minutes each. Optional 10-minute add-ons include a polisher exfoliation using a fine diamond bit and jojoba oil, a sugar scrub with a hot towel wrap and finishing skin oil, and a free quiet appointment.
Nail art comes in three tiers, all requiring a gel base and not available with the naked nails manicure. Tier I covers simple hand-painted designs on all nails or detailed accents on up to four nails, in up to three colors, starting at $40 for about an hour. Tier II adds isolated chrome, more detailed painting and hand-sculpted 3D or encapsulated accents, starting at $60 for 80 minutes or more. Tier III is detailed, layered artwork on a full set, starting at $80 for about 150 minutes.
A valid card on file is needed to secure appointments. Cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead are charged the full service, and rescheduling on shorter notice carries a half-price fee. Arriving 15 or more minutes late may mean rescheduling with a possible half-price fee. Clients who arrive sick are sent home and charged the full appointment. Clients are asked to share relevant health or allergy information in advance, and children, pets and guests are asked not to attend. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Thursday and Friday 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 9:30 AM to 4 PM, with Sunday and Monday closed.
