XASH.HAIRX is a hair studio in Spring, Texas, located inside Skin Stories Tattoo. Ash is the stylist, and the studio works by appointment only, so visits are booked ahead. Hours run Tuesday through Saturday, with Monday and Sunday closed.

The menu is centered on hair: cuts from barber haircuts to customized cuts, full color, foils, root touch-ups, gloss treatments and vivid color projects. Extensions are a major part of the work, including tape-in and keratin fusion (K-tip) installs, move-ups, maintenance and removal. Some services are priced per hour or per row, while others start at a set price.

Booking requires a deposit that is applied to the total on the day of the appointment. Changes or cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice, and bookings made within 24 hours or cancelled late forfeit the deposit. Arrivals up to 15 minutes late are accepted, and a no-call/no-show forfeits the deposit. Each guest receives one grace appointment a year for last-minute changes, and all sales of services and products are final with no refunds.

Healthy hair and scalp come first, and clients are shown how to build and maintain them. Products are recommended only after personal use or testing across a range of hair types.
