X-PCzone Computer & Phone Repair

X-PCzone has been providing computer and phone repair in Los Angeles since 1990. It handles iPhone, Samsung, LG, Motorola and Google Pixel phones, along with iPads, PCs and Macs, and gaming computers from brands such as Alienware, MSI and ASUS.

Phone and tablet repairs cover the common problems: broken screens, batteries, power jacks, home buttons, backlights and logic boards. Phone services also include charging port repair, flex cable replacement, camera swaps and tempered glass installation. Cellular activation and phone unlocking are offered, including removal of iCloud and Google account locks.

Computer work covers PCs and Macs, with MacBook repair for liquid damage, no display, battery charging, backlight and power problems, EEFI removal and water damage. Logic board repair is offered for MacBooks, iPhones, iPads and iMacs. Windows upgrades, RAM installation, USB port repair, BIOS repair, antivirus installation and data transfer are also listed.

Data recovery covers hard disks, USB flash drives, SD and micro SD cards, SSD drives, and Apple and Windows devices. Customers who cannot come in can get remote support through TeamViewer.

Repairs are handled through a contract service. Customers fill out a form on the website and receive an RMA or order number to send in their device. Repair prices are not listed online; the total is quoted after diagnosis. Same-day repair is offered, and dropping a device off early in the morning may allow it to be finished the same day. Service is available in Spanish.

The business also offers web design and hosting, including mobile responsive websites, iOS and Android apps, SEO and graphic design. Website design inquiries use a separate phone number.

The shop repairs motherboard circuits component by component rather than replacing the whole board, and says it uses dedicated equipment for motherboard work.
