New clients get a free 15-minute consultation with their first appointment, and the practice reviews medical history before any treatment. Treatment plans are personalized after that consultation and take into account hair growth cycles, hair density, hormone function, medications and the client's schedule. Electrolysis is booked in 15, 30, 45 or 60-minute sessions, priced at $40, $65, $85 and $105 respectively. The 15-minute visit is for maintenance only, so clients should contact Melissa Wish before booking one. Six- and twelve-session electrolysis packages are also offered. Laser and IPL sessions usually run from 10 minutes to one hour depending on the area. The business says most clients need 8 to 12 sessions for best results. Single laser areas start at $40 for the glabella, whole-body laser is $1,500, and six- or twelve-session packages are priced by area. Payment is due at the time of treatment, and payment plans are available.

Before laser or IPL, clients are asked to shave the area the night before and to avoid sun exposure and waxing or plucking before and after. Between electrolysis treatments, clients may shave or dermaplane only, and they should stop other temporary removal methods three days before each appointment. For 48 hours after treatment, clients are asked to avoid tanning and heavy sweating and to use only medicated makeup.

The practice offers gender-affirming electrolysis and laser hair removal. Help is available with insurance communication and paperwork such as treatment records and receipts when appropriate. Genital electrolysis for gender reassignment surgery preparation is priced separately, with 30, 45 and 60-minute options. Insurance coverage varies, so clients are advised to check their benefits with their insurer.

At the Essex location, Botox and filler injections are offered through a partnership with Access Aesthetics, and the injectors work under the supervision of a facial plastic surgeon. Photo facials and skin treatments are also offered under the Aesthetics by Olivia name. Skin tags can be removed, and clients are asked to inquire about this service. Moles and raised spots cannot be treated without a doctor's note.

Treatment is built around a free consultation, with plans shaped by each client's hair growth, density, hormone function, medications and availability. The practice describes electrolysis as the only FDA-recognized method of permanent hair removal and laser and IPL as permanent hair reduction rather than complete removal.
