Wind & Water Salon was established in 2009. It began as a full salon and spa offering hair care, massage, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures, and its current service list is built around hair color and cuts, with eyebrow and lip waxing offered by Jen.
The salon is at 208 Wilcox Street, between 2nd and 3rd Street, close to Festival Park, Yolanda's Tacos, Dazbog Coffee and Great Divide Brewing Company. It is open Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays. Appointments can be booked online, and same-day requests or help with booking are handled by phone or text at 303-663-9999.
Co-owners Jeremy and Joy Prior previously co-owned Eco Salon in the Park Meadows area. Jen, a part-time stylist, opened Wind & Water Salon to fulfill a goal she had held for a long time. Tristen joined in April 2021 as the newest stylist, and the four core stylists are Jeremy, Joy, Tristen and Jen.
Men's and women's haircuts include a shampoo, scalp massage and style. Children 11 and under can book at the children's rate, which is listed under the men's haircut prices. Color services range from retouches and full color to partial and full highlights, with starting prices listed for each.
