Wildflower Wigs of Rockwall operates as a wig studio located inside Rockwall Salons on East Interstate 30. The studio is built around private, appointment-based visits, and its stated aim is to help women feel positive and confident while they choose a wig or topper, in a setting with no pressure to buy.
A visit usually starts with a private consultation, where the studio assesses how much hair loss there is and recommends a wig, topper or extension that suits. The $50 consultation fee is applied toward the purchase of a piece. Guests are limited to one or two people per visit, which helps keep the appointment private.
Wigs and toppers are sold in human hair, synthetic and heat-friendly synthetic, in pixie, bob, mid-length and long cuts, with rooted or non-rooted options. The Belle Tress range is carried in several versions, including Lux, Lux SE and Icons, alongside Jon Renau and Raquel Welch. Wig and topper prices fall between $150 and $6,200.
Existing wigs can be cared for on site. Clients can have the studio wash a wig or topper for a $10 fee, or book the heat-friendly wig revitalizing service for $40. Free wig washing classes are also offered for those who want to care for their own pieces at home, and the studio sells the shampoo, conditioner, brushes, grip bands, adhesive, wax, sea salt spray and hairspray used for wig care.
Clients with medical concerns can call ahead, and the studio will wear a mask and wipe down surfaces and items with antibacterial wipes. Accepted payment includes FSA and HSA cards, though many plans require a Letter of Medical Necessity or a doctor's prescription, and an itemized receipt is provided for insurance reimbursement, although the studio does not bill insurance directly. Returns and exchanges are not accepted for sanitary reasons, so all sales are final.
