Custom hair replacement systems are handmade for each client. The team builds them from the client's hair samples and a template of the area that needs replacement, and a system can be designed by base material, hair color including gray and blends, hair type, density, wave pattern and curl. Women's custom and pre-custom systems require hair samples so that type and color can be matched. Men can choose a pre-custom system that is ready to wear, or a custom system, which needs a template and takes four to five weeks to build. Men's systems are attached to the scalp with perimeter bonding or full head bonding. The salon says most of its men's replacement clients came from other hair replacement studios.

For hair regrowth and prevention, the salon offers low level laser hair re-growth therapy for men and women, both in the office and at home, along with Capillus Pro cold laser programs in house and at home. It also runs a hair loss prevention program and a scalp rejuvenation and re-growth program built on all-natural based products. The salon states that its lasers are FDA approved for cosmetic purposes. Staff are trained in oncology and in esthetics to understand skin needs.

The salon also supports people going through chemotherapy, with a pre-chemo buzz service and post-chemo hair care that includes trimming, coloring and straightening. Its wig services cover washing, reconditioning and restyling, with wigs serviced on the premises, plus trimming, thinning, tucking, highlighting, fluffing and frizz removal. Wigs, hairpieces and alternatives come in synthetic and human hair for men, women and children, and headcovers, turbans, hats and scarves are also stocked. Extension options include UltraTress, an all-in-one thickening and extension process using 100% Remy human hair, as well as 3/4 falls and clip-in and clip-out pieces, some permanent and some temporary.

A free consultation is booked by calling the salon at (631) 737-2850. Semi-private and private rooms are available, and the salon says client privacy is guaranteed. It accepts most insurance, including plans from Empire BC/BS, Aetna, Island Group, Core Source and Cigna, and insurance forms for Medicare and the Empire Plan can be downloaded from the website. For cranial prosthesis claims, the salon asks that the invoice be labeled as a cranial hair prosthesis rather than a wig, and suggests asking a physician for a prescription for a full cranial prosthesis and a letter of necessity that includes the diagnosis.
