Wicked Esthetics

Wicked Esthetics is a collective of four independently owned businesses under one roof at 17300 Saturn Lane in Clear Lake. The studio is in a blue building with its entrance facing the road, near the NASA Space Center and Clear Lake Intermediate school. Across the four businesses, the studio offers lashes, nails, facials and waxing.

The studio was created by its owner, Wednesday Wood, and lash services are a central part of what it offers. Lash extensions are custom-made to suit each client, from natural and wispy looks to full, dramatic styles. A full set takes two to three hours, depending on how many natural lashes the client has, and fills take an hour, or 90 minutes for an extended fill.

The studio also offers a Korean lash lift and tint, which curls natural lashes and adds a black tint; it takes 45 minutes to an hour and lasts up to eight weeks. Brow enhancements include lamination, tinting and shaping. Brow lamination is non-invasive, works with natural brow hairs and is a different service from microblading.

Appointments are required, and walk-ins are not taken. Clients who have brow lamination and tinting are asked to keep brows dry, avoid sweating and skip makeup for the first 24 hours. Lash extension wearers should not wear mascara, though eyeliner is allowed if removed nightly. Lash extensions should be removed by a professional rather than at home.

The studio also runs one-on-one training for lash artists, including a two-day beginner course, a one-day custom mastery course and a one-day lash lift course.

Each of the four businesses operates independently under one roof, and the studio describes its lash work as tailored to each client.
