Whimsy Salon was previously known as Whimsy Salon & Garden. Keli Murphy created and owned that business for six years and grew a team of stylists during that time. In July 2015 it moved and downsized to a private studio for Keli Murphy.

The studio is by appointment only, and clients book by phone at 310-629-3169. It sits on the lower level of Riviera Plaza, across from Spade Medical Day Spa, with free underground parking at the plaza. The ocean is about half a block away.

Color correction is also offered.

Keli makes boutique items in house, including sugar scrubs, candles, oils, shampoo and body bars, and room and linen sprays. These are made to order on request, and gift wrapping is available.

Each visit starts with listening to what the client wants, and the studio works toward that result using MARIA.NILA hair care and color.
