Younger children sit in small car-style chairs. Bigger kids who have outgrown those chairs, or who want more independence, move to a standard salon chair. Big Kid appointments are based on comfort rather than a set age, and the salon serves children up to 18. Kids choose their own style and can watch TV or play video games during the cut. A set of mascot characters, including Princess Whimsy, Knight Do, Moonwyn, Leafy Lu, Razzle, Wicky Witch and Rainbow Mane, helps children feel comfortable in the chair.
Sensory-friendly appointments are designed for children who need a calmer visit. They offer reduced noise, extra time, breaks, gentle communication and a pace set by the child. Pricing depends on appointment length, not on a child's needs or diagnosis.
Appointments can be booked online, by phone or in person, and specific stylist requests are accepted but not guaranteed. Email and text reminders are offered. Gift cards and gift certificates are available at the salon. The salon is hiring new hairstylists.
