Laser hair removal is done on Lumenis Splendor X and Lumenis LightSheer Desire devices, which the center describes as FDA-approved Class 4 medical devices. Pricing depends on the area treated, and discounts are available for treating several areas. A complimentary consultation and a test patch come before laser treatment. Sessions are usually six to eight weeks apart, and most light-skinned clients with dark hair need about three to five treatments. Medium to darker skin, hormonal factors, or recent temporary hair removal typically mean more than five. Laser prepaid packages are five treatments with a sixth free. The package is paid in full at the first session, is non-refundable and non-transferable, cannot be used on other areas or by other clients, and unused sessions are forfeited after the expiration date.
Electrolysis is offered as permanent hair removal through a series of treatments, and the center says it works on all hair types. It is typically used for fine or lightly colored hairs, brow shaping, small areas, thin peach fuzz, and as follow-up to laser. Sessions are usually three to five weeks apart. Pricing is $60 for 15 minutes, $100 for 30 minutes, $142 for 45 minutes, and $178 for 60 minutes, and each session includes a disposable probe. Registered Electrologists are licensed in Massachusetts after an 1100-hour hands-on training program and two state board examinations, and license renewal requires continuing education.
IPL photofacial sessions last 15 to 30 minutes, with clear ultrasound gel applied to the treated area, and are usually scheduled three to four weeks apart. The center offers them for fine lines and wrinkles, age and sun spots, acne and acne scars, freckles, broken capillaries, and rosacea, as well as overall skin tone and texture.
Appointments are offered seven days a week, and the center points clients to its Facebook page for current hours. Cancellations or changes are requested at least 24 hours ahead. Clients are asked to report any medical or health changes at each visit. Payment is due in full at each treatment, and Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, checks, and gift cards are accepted, along with FSA and HSA cards for eligible services. Gift certificates can be bought by text, phone, or email. Treatments, products, and services are non-refundable and non-returnable.
The center follows infection control standards written by the American Electrology Association, which it says align with CDC, OSHA, and APIC recommendations, and it uses only disposable electrolysis probes. It describes its laser and photofacial treatments as safe and comfortable and uses medical-grade devices.
The business describes its setting as clean, professional, and private.
