Well Polished was started by founders who had visited nail salons across the Chicagoland area and were dissatisfied with the hygiene and customer service they found. The salon was opened with those two areas as a central concern.
The salon describes its staff as highly trained and friendly. Visits are built around a set of tiered manicures and pedicures, with each step up adding treatments such as exfoliation, masques and massage. Clients can choose their polish color or pick a no chip finish on the higher tiers.
