Waxing Moon Spa is an independent studio in Capitol Hill, run by its owner, Ileah, who is the only person working there. Ileah worked at the studio for nine years before buying it in November 2020, and had served in the Army before starting there.

Services are by appointment only, and booking requires a valid credit card. Clients receive a confirmation at booking, reminders by email and text ahead of the visit, and the studio asks for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules.
