Jessica founded Wax Worx, a waxing studio at 2555 North Hiatus Road in Cooper City. The studio describes itself as South Florida's newest salon and as a go-to wax studio, and it works with a striptless hard wax that it sells under its own name.
Waxing is built around a three-step routine of cleanse, wax and soothe. Hard wax is applied without paper strips, from palettes that are warmed and enriched with nutrients and vitamins, and the studio says sessions run no longer than 10 minutes. Guests can ask the specialist to adjust the wax to their preferences, and an ingrown hair serum is available on request during a visit.
Skin lightening starts with a consultation with a specialist to decide whether treatment suits the client. The studio notes that one or two sessions are not expected to show change and that many clients see progress within as few as three. Eyebrow and eyelash tinting use a semi-permanent dye, and the studio lists results lasting three to six weeks depending on aftercare.
The studio is open Monday and Thursday from 12 to 8 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday. First-time guests receive 50% off their first wax, excluding full legs. WXW Rewards gives one star per visit, with five stars redeemable for $5 off the next service, and VIP monthly packages can save up to 25% compared with pay-as-you-go prices.
Each waxing visit follows three steps, cleanse, wax and soothe, and services are tailored to each guest's requests.
