Body sugaring is the core of the menu. The paste is made from sugar, lemon juice and water, and is worked on lukewarm with a gloved hand, using a fresh portion for each client. According to the spa, regrowth typically returns in about one and a half to two weeks, and sugaring can lift hair as short as 1/16 of an inch. Options range from underarms, stomach and bikini work to full legs, Brazilian and full-face sugaring, with botanical waxing offered for the inner thigh, buttocks and leg areas. Clinical facials include exfoliation, a double cleanse and pore steaming.
Clients are asked to avoid trimming before an appointment, since the spa trims hair during the service, and to wait at least three weeks after any other hair removal before booking. For the first three services, the spa recommends visits every three to four weeks. Brazilian and bikini services are not performed during active menstruation, and sugaring is not performed while a client is using Accutane. Men's Brazilian services are not offered, though other body areas can be sugared or waxed for men. Spa packages are also available.
Hair is removed with a lukewarm sugar paste applied against the direction of growth and pulled along it, with a fresh portion for every client.
